Welcome

Welcome to Herron Island a privately owned island which is located on Case Inlet in the South Puget Sound. This island is only approximately 1.5 miles long by 3/4 mile wide, but it is home to a variety of wildlife, extremely nice people, and an abundant of recreational opportunities. All access to the island is by boat. Mainly by the Charlie Wells private ferry that runs on a regular schedule. Passes required from members for access. See links for all information. Boaters and fishermen will love the marine atmosphere on Herron Island, where fishing is always just a few steps away. Watch whales occasionally pass by or spend the days digging clams, crabbing, boating or just sitting on one of the public beaches or on our own private beach.
